Nothing could be further from the truth. The internet is global and people would rather download the ebook cover instantly. What if you could make all kinds of book covers with photoshop plugins. I will now show you how to create a book cover, book covers, ebook cover, paperback book covers, bible book covers, custom book covers, design book covers, and book cover template using BookCoverOmatic.com Package using adobe photoshop plugins to make your life so easy. All book covers will be made digital so if you want to take your digital book cover to a book publisher he will be able to see your vision saving you thousands of dollars in graphic design fees when you do it yourself. Here is a list of items you'll need to make your book cover, ebook cover or book covers.
Step 1 - Open up adobe photoshop and click on the actions pallete and select the small triangle in photoshop plugin called ebook cover. You click on the triangle in front of start and then you will see the 2 D graphic image below.
Step 2 – You will now see two 2D graphic images below. The 2D canvas in dark blue is 59 pixels wide by 300 pixels high and the light blue will appear and as 233 pixels wide by 300 pixels high. With the image dimensions which I just gave you, you can take a custom logo you designed or if you paid a graphics designer just put that image in the light blue area. Just resize your image that you want for your ezine cover to 233x300 pixels using ifranview graphics photo editor explained in my previous article and the best part is irfanview if free. Then resize your dark blue image to 59x300 pixels.
I took my custom book cover called book cover omatic and then you drag this image over the light blue area. Then I took the small binder photo and dragged this image over the dark blue area. This is the graphic design for my book cover template You can use the arrow keys on your keyboard to move the photo up, down, left or right for accurate alignment.
Once you have your images in place and you are happy then its time to compile the 2D image using the adobe photoshop plugin by clicking the triangle in front of compile. Now the real magic begins before your very eyes within a few seconds you will see the adobe photoshop plugins go thru a series of action scripts automatically behind the scenes creating the most spectcular book cover below. You can add a mirror reflection to the book cover by clicking on the triangle in front of the word refelection.
